Welcome to our little shop in North Miami, where many of our regulars already know their favorite dishes by name.
Some come looking for classics, others for flavors that feel like home. You might hear someone ask for carne mechada, carne encebollada, rice and beans, or sweet plantains — and of course a fresh challah or dessert to take along.
Our takeout counter often features freshly prepared dishes by the pound, colorful salads, soups, challah, desserts, frozen meals, and both frozen and freshly baked appetizers.
And sometimes… there are surprises — a salad I dreamed up that morning or a dish inspired by a family recipe.
You never quite know what will come out that day, and that’s part of the fun.
